Recorded in situ on the 13th of June 2023 (11:12 AM)
The piece is composed for a room in a school in Leknes, Lofoten.
A room built to protect the Leknes residents, in case of an air-raid.
Now, doubling as a classroom
For teaching kids the joy and wonders of music.
Walls, floor and ceiling, all built using concrete.
Even the tiniest sound is enhanced.
And bounce around the room.
A room with terrible acoustics.
With this in mind
I made something that could enhance.
The terrible acoustic.
The notion of the chaos, noise and joys experienced during class.
The notion of anxiety, fear and chaos experienced during an air-raid.
A noisy, dense slab of Radical Ambient Music
